About

Born and raised on the traditional territories of the payómkawichum peoples in California, I live life with a strong sense of curiosity, spirituality, adventure, and justice. I love to be outdoors,  create & play music, write, take pictures, and most of all, soak up everything this spectacular world has to teach me.

My Travels

I have been privileged to travel in 30 countries across 5 continents, as well as explore across my home country, the United States. While I leave a piece of my heart every place I go, the beauty of natural landscapes and the powerful diversity of the human experience continue to fill my heart anew.

My Future

In 2017, I finished my Master’s of Environmental Studies in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. I worked as a science & communications consultant for a number of years, including a strong career in water research and knowledge mobilization. Currently, I am the Programs Director with Water Watchers, an Ontario-based non-profit with roots in water protection, climate action, and intersectional justice. .

I certainly do not know where the roads will take me in life; where I’ll choose to turn, veer left, or step completely off the path. I do however know that wherever I go and whatever I do, I will have a smile on my face and an open heart to receive all the universe has to offer.

    Good Morning Dani,
It is wonderful to read of your adventures in India particularly about the wedding that you attended.
Having met you at the Kitchener Congregation and having observed your enthusiastic response to life, I can easily understand how you would enjoy the excitement, the colour, the beauty of the country, and the friendly people that you have met in India.
We just want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We trust that your goals will be fulfilled and we look forward to reading about more of your adventures.
May God’s spirit be with you in all that you do.
